The City of Sioux Falls has a big vision for the Big Sioux River Greenway. Part of that vision is the rehabilitation of the 100 year old, 241ft bridge at 8th street that spans the river leading to The Falls. As a historic bridge, the focus was on keeping current and original aesthetics while enhancing the bridge architecture. Color changing lighting uplights the arches and lighting was incorporated into the ballustrade to add lighting to the pedestrian walkway atop the bridge.
